Getting a Flat Fixed
I think this might be the best quick sketch of people I've ever done. I love it. I hope to do more and get over my fear of sketching people.

Broad Avenue Party
On Broad Avenue, looking at the crazy bike lanes and parking lines, waiting for Heather so we can go to a party.

Lunch
Lunch at Cafe Eclectic after the Memphis Urban Sketchers spent the morning at Bojo's.
Had a sort of floppy grilled cheese sandwich as I finished reading At Mrs. Lippincote's by Elizabeth Taylor, while being pestered by a guy sitting next to me who wanted to use my phone. Nope.
And Happy Valentine's Day!

Back on the Road!
I went back to work after a week. Here I am leaving work, sitting at the longest light in the world.

Daisies
Shannon left me these and a magazine. I got a total of (I think) seven magazines, also from Terron and Heather. Thanks girls! I also read 2 and half books!

Lei
In addition to a bunch of magazines, I received a gift of leis from my mother-in-law and her sisters. Here are two: one made of tiny roses and one made of orchids. They smelled lovely. There was also one made of little nuts and one full of candy!

Truck
I did go out once a couple of days before the surgery - I had to get my hair done! I drew my truck while having lunch (turkey sandwich no cheese or mayo) at Lenny's between errands, as Sister Christian played on the radio.

In the Kitchen
I had my gallbladder removed three weeks ago. Woohoo! It is such a relief! So the next few sketches are mostly from around my house while I was recuperating.

Memphis Urban Sketchers at Bojo's
Saturday the Memphis Urban Sketchers went to Bojo's Antique Mall to sketch since it was so icky out (though it got nice later, but still cold). Bojo's is such a Memphis landmark though! It is really an incredible and overwhelming place. It was difficult to stop looking long enough to draw. Here's my first attempt at focusing - the fact that they are purses made it easier. The rest of my sketches and some other folks' sketches are up on the Memphis Urban Sketchers blog - go take a look!
