Fragments
These sketches are from the opening of the Fragments show at Harrington Brown Gallery on October 7th. Because the purpose of the show was to have poets respond to the work of artists or vice versa, the opening was really an event at which the poets read their poems and the corresponding artist's work was unveiled. Due to my lack of comfort with both formality and performance, I sketched the whole time in order to feel more comfortable. Also, it was definitely a sketching-appropriate event.

Found
I found this on a legal pad at work. I was testing a new pen I got at a conference while I was in Sacramento earlier this year. This was my hotel room.
